THEATRE AT THE CONGRESS
The local community has prepared a fantastic schedule of activities during the congress. Among others, theater pieces will be performed by the Amathunzi Arts & Development Centre, which is a non profit organization located in Khayelitsha (Lingelethu District) in the Western Cape.
They help people with disabilities, teens, and children victims of gender-based violence, substance abuse, human trafficking, drugs, HIV/Aids, and gangsterism.
The arts are among the effective tools to address all of the above-mentioned social issues.
