The Federation of African Immunological Societies (FAIS) bridges immunology societies from African countries. The mission of FAIS is to promote research, clinical and animal care, and advocacy efforts that impact immune system-related morbidity and mortality.
The activities of FAIS are intended to complement those of other similar organisations. Currently, Algeria, Benin, Cameroon, Democratic Republic of Congo, Egypt, The Gambia, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Malawi, Mali, Morocco, Nigeria, Senegal, South Africa, Tanzania, Tunisia, and Zimbabwe are represented in FAIS.
