FIMSA TRAVEL GRANTS

FIMSA announces 20 Travel bursaries for young scientists (graduate students/post-docs) of USD 1,500 each, as a partial support for registration and travel expenses associated with attending and presenting a research paper in 18th IUIS International Congress of Immunology (IUIS 2023) at Cape Town, South Africa to be held from 27th Nov to 2nd Dec 2023.

Criteria
Applicants should be PhD students/Post-docs currently working/affiliated in one of the FIMSA countries/regions ONLY.

Submission
Full details of the accepted abstract, CV and endorsement by the PhD supervisor/Principal Investigator of the student/post-doc to be submitted to the respective FIMSA Councilor (visit www.fimsa.org for name and contact details of respective FIMSA Council members) on or before 15th July 2023.

Selection
–  Every Council member could send a short list of applications not more than 5.
–  FIMSA committee would decide the final list of 20 fellowships. (with considerations for equity i.e. geography/opportunity/sex).

Award Announcement
Selected candidates will be informed by 30th July, 2023.

Award Presentation
During the 2023 FIMSA Council Meeting awards will be presented to recipients.
